My amel shedding?

I've had my girl for 3 weeks come tomorrow. While I had her out feeding tonight, which she had a great appetite, I noticed she looked "ashy" or not as glossy as she normally seems. She had been hiding in one hide on the warm side all day. I placed a humid hide in her tank. No moss at this moment, but did some damp paper towels in a Tupperware container. I have heard people say it's tough to tell by eyes when an amel is gonna shed, but I didn't know if maybe it was lighting today that made her look that way or is she probably about to shed? Not able to get any pics to load to show comparison picture, which you probably can't tell the different in a picture. Ideas?

That's how my guy started to look before his shed. Took about a full week for him to shed. He started hiding a lot more too.

Perfect thanks!! So this I guess was good timing for a feed. It'll hold her over until she's done shedding.

I would agree sounds like a shedding will be coming soon. Hopefully it will be a good one - offering the humid hide should really help. Good luck!
