My Baby Boy! Progression?

Hey hey,

Think it's bout time I start a progression for my own baby ^_^. Got him successfully popped last night, so I know he is DEFINITELY a boy *_~ hehe. He was playin around on my desk and found his own little hide...in my empty Chips Ahoy box! Turned into a really cool picture though haha.

I still need a name for him!! Was thinking Timothy Leary...ya know "tune in, turn on, drop out," but I'm not too sure on it. I wanna name him after a really awesome person in history that changed the world, or the way the world thinks. I'm partial to the '60s even though I was born in '89 =/ but if you guys have any ideas I'm taking suggestions!!

This is exactly 2 weeks after bringing the guy home. 13.Feb.2009

It looks like he's in the "pink" in some of those pictures but this is just after a fresh shed 2 days ago, I think it's just his snake version of red eye haha

Hey

Let me know if these pictures are too big for you guys, I have a pretty big monitor. I can resize them if its outrageous. Just let me know =]

Well I didn't get him from a breeder, so I'm assuming amel just because it's very unlikely Petco would have a reverse okeetee in stock =x

He's a great example of an Amel! I'm hoping to get a pretty female amel pretty soon and your pictures just make me so impatient!! :D

Well I decided to name him Ringo Starr =]] he's my shining star, and I love the Beatles. So it fits hehe.

Here's some pictures of him I took last night hehe

Welp! My boy's in the blue! (well...pink really since he's an amel lol...and I don't see it in his eyes...but his colors are WAAY dull...seen it coming for about a week since his skin looked a little less springy during a feeding)

I'll be posting pics once he sheds I'm excited! Im not pleased that it's happening now rather than in a week though since I've had to have him in a makeshift glad tupperware viv cause I'm on spring break for a week...not allowed in the dorms for about 10 days. And I couldn't just leave him there with no heat (they make us unplug everything) and no food or fresh water or loving care for that long. Problem: Parents absolutely LOATH snakes. So I've had to hide him underneath my nightstand (dont worry I've got a good light cycle going for him) in a large-ish glad tupperware that I poked MANY holes in the top of and outfitted with a paper towel roll and some aspen. Ive got his UTH under there as well, of course.

But the humidity isn't awesome down there, especially since I have to warm my room (in the basement) with a space heater. I'm thinking of going to grab one of those moisture pads they use for crickets?? Or I'll probably just stick a damp paper towel in there.

I'm hoping he can hold out for a little while til I can get him a good place to shed so he doesn't have another bad shed...but I'll be making it the best I can.

I also weighed him today (FINALLY got a scale) He's 9 grams ^_^ cute thing.
