Hey peeps, been a long time since ive posted anything. Missing my babys from last year so thought i would post up some piccys. They are exploring their mums Vib (without mum there ) So here they are!
Your incubation installation looks interesting. How have you built it? Have the babies indeed been incubated and hatched inside a bigger viv - no warm water set-up or specific incubator?
Well I tried it the old fashioned way. I basically left her too it.
The lay box was a plastic Tub with moist moss in it (with tissue paper on the bottom to keep it more moist).
Underneath some more moss to keep it snug and then the Log on top (all being at the end with the light). Then about 2 weeks before hatching I took the lay box out and placed it on a small vib heater inside a small plastic vib. A few weeks later i had a near 100% hatch rate and out of a large clutch of eggs
