Recently Tu my male adult corn has been rattling his tail at me when I go to get him out. He had shed the day before he 1st did it so it wasnt that he wanted to be left alone because of that. Im not worried as nothing has changed, he is fine when I ignore him & get him out. He is just so placid really its strange for him

anyone know why they do this.. Does other peoples corns do it ?

Cheers :)

Hi There,

This is perfectly normal corn behaviour. I think every one of my corns has done it at some stage or other. They do it when they feel threatenend.

Sometimes even extremely docile corns do it if you catch them off guard and give them a bit of a fright. It's nothing to worry about! :)

I had a really mean Okeetee that would rattle his tail when ever I would even walk by his cage. After a while I just assumed he really did think he was a rattle snake. :grin01:
