it was so cute.. i just got my baby female amel..

after she went through blue phase, i got her out to show my brother.. as we were holding her, she started working to get the skin off her nose... she got all the skin off her nose and over her eyes and off her head.. once it was off the head, i think she got nervous and started trying to move away, so i put her back

is it normal for them to have more difficulty getting the skin off the front tip of the lower jaw?

Starting the shed is the hardest bit because they have to break the skin off thier noses. It seems to be more difficult to get off the bottom of their jaw, when I have a problem shed it often involve the skin peeling back from the top of their heads and not the bottom.

But IMO you shouldn't really have your snake out after they've gona into the blue until after they shed as it is very uncomfortable for them because their skin is so sensitive. She probably tried to shed in your hands because you handling her was making her old skin annoy her so much.
