he comes out of his hide and up to the side of the cage EVERY time I walk by now. He got right up to the glass for my camera too, so I got 2 cool pictures! such a sweet snake, this guys got loads of personality.

Here she's looking at me again. I didn't see her peeking but the camera did :)

Yesterday she actually came to the glass when i approached. She wanted another pinkie but she ate the last one 2 days ago.

hehe you've gota pretty snake there. I'm ok with him comming out everytime I walk by, but I think maybe I should be more careful not to associate food with me in the future. :)

I was thinking the same about substrate, it's great looking, I would love to get my paws on some of that....BTW Jicin are there two snakes in that larger picture (one on the thermometer and one coming out of the paper tube) or am I seeing things?

Yeah theres 2. Like i said, i didn't notice her checking me out untill after i looked at this pic. Right now she's curled up in the corner of the viv like she usually is around this time. Looking at me.

I don't know the exact name of the sustrate as it came in a plastic bag with no label. They seem to be simple wood chips. Treated with sand so no splinters. It's just colored. Looks nice huh? Non toxic and it doesn't rub off on the snake. I bought it at a fair. Unfortunately i've never seen it elswere. Theres another fair in 2 week where i hope to purchace more. It's much better them the other crap here in pet stores. The best bedding i could find molds when in contact with water :/

Heres another pic. Not very flattering. Fat belly and nearing a shed. But this is where she usually hangs out in the evening. Right now she's chilling under the branch. Probably mocking why i put the mice into the freezer instead of her belly.
