My Extreme Okeetee - Ghimbi

Kona's Daddy

And here's little Ghimbi. Got him from Don S. in early July. He shed yesterday, so he's all kinds of colorful (and starving, probably. It's dinner time tonight!!)

He looks healthy. Our Extreme Okeetee, Mason, just shed yesterday and ate great right afterward. We got Mason from Don in early July as well. Pattern is a bit different.

They're both beautiful snakes. Okeetees are still my favorites (but Miamis come in a very close second) of the "non Tessera" varieties :).

I want one of those someday. I know I'll get one since they are my husband's favorite morph. Love that last pic with the flared jaw bone.

The blue background really helps the picture and coloring of Ghimbi. They are starting to looked good even as hatchlings. Don has said the hatchlings don't stand out like many of the other morphs, but those Extreme Okeetee colors really develop with age. Since this is our first corn snake and first Okeetee, I'm excited to watch and see as his colors change with growth.

Dreamsnake, your husband must have good taste. If I left it to my sons or my wife, I'm sure we would have had a different morph. I knew I would still be the primary caregiver, so, I chose the Okeetee.

thanks
