So, yesterday I had my first corn (or snake, for that matter) hookup ever. I didn't know the gender of my new amel, so I thought I'd put him in with my proven anery female, and voila, this occurred!!! He's obviously a male! I'm so thrilled. Sorry the pictures aren't so good, but I didn't really expect this to happen, at least not so quickly!
Zena (the anery female) is about five feet long (from Amanda at www.twistedserpent.com), and Zeppelin (the amel male) is only about three feet long. It was kind of funny; but they sure do seem to like each other!
I'll keep introducing them to hope for my first eggs ever.
BTW, Zelda is a double clutcher, so keep your fingers crossed for me, okay?
