I hope this works, it's my 1st attempt at posting a photo. I have named my snake Steve, after Steve Irwin who was the one who opened my eyes to these beautiful creatures.
I think the breeder told me he is a het amel, he waffled a lot about genetics and stuff that as a newbie to snake ownership I have no idea about...maybe somebody could confirm that for me? Thanks
I brought him home today and after having about a 7 hour sleep, Steve was out and about in his tank, so I thought I would get him out for a quick 5 minute photo shoot. I think he is gorgeous!

From what I hear, only paying members are allowed to delete their posts.

As for posting you pictures, just click on the image icon above the post text box (it looks like it has a mountain image) and paste the link to your photo into the text box that pops up. Or you can copy and paste the code thats offerd on you photo sharing site. It should look like url or link.

Pretty snakey btw. =)

congrats on your first snake, I'm sure there will be more to come :)

het amel means that the snake is carrying the amelanistic gene, but it is not displayed, so if bred to another snake that is either amel or het amel, amels could be produced.
