my first shed

I hadn't handled my creamsicle that much since its feeding on Tuesday (1st home feeding), so I had it out for about 10 minutes while I changed water and tidied. I put it back in the tank and went to check some emails, literally 5 minutes later I turn around to see that it had shed completely! I didn't notice the eyes get cloudy (unless it happened and then cleared). Do they always do it that fast when they're this young (12" +/-)?

Thanks

Not sure

hmm... im not sure mine is about the same lengh he is a baby albino sunglow and he is in the prosses of shedding i just put him in a damp container with moss so its easier to shed for him but we will find out how long it takes him

Their eyes do get blue and then clear again. That would have been days before the actual shedding process. Once they decide to shed the skin it doesn't take long:D
