My First Snake, an Amel (with video of feeding too ;))

Having been a corn snake owner less than 3 weeks now, I am EXTREMELY exited to finally have pictures to show! From what the pet store told me, it should be just shy of 3 months old, but when I tell people that it is easily eating hoppers, they say at least a year...is there any way to know for sure? Nothing really all that special, compared to all those fancy morph pictures everyone is posting, but if not for this one little snake, I might never have gotten into corn snakes at all! :sidestep: Anyways, here are the pictures! ;)

And last but not least, the video! *waits for everyone to yell at her for feeding on substrate...>.>;*

You'll hear opinions of others, I'd say your snake is 10-12 months old. Great looking snake, CONGRATS! and welcome to the addiction... soon you'll have a handfull of them :grin01:

VERY good looking amel!!!

Dont worrie about everyones fancy morphs! Sooner or later you'll have some of your own!!! :)

Thanks! ^^ She's an absolute sweet heart! (Haven't actually had her sexed yet though...=/, but I'm going with "her" for now :p) She even falls asleep on my desk sometimes! <3

And as for more snakes...I'm already choosing out what morphs I want next in priority order... :grin01: I am a TOTAL addict, the only inhibiting factor being funds...XD But hey, isn't keeping snakes more important than eating? ;)
