I haven't posted here in years, but I wanted to share my funny snake story with people who get it.
This evening I noticed one of my snakes was starting to shed, so I left him alone for awhile to finish. I came back later and found that the job was done, but his skin had broken into three parts. (Note to self: increase humidity.) In the meantime, however, he had apparently changed his mind about it and decided that that old skin was really great skin after all, and he wanted back in. I had to watch him for awhile... He managed to get back through the middle piece of skin, and had it on inside out around his middle. Then he stuck his head into the piece that had come off off his lower abdomen and tail. He got his head about halfway through, and then got stuck, so he was moving around his cage with his old tail-skin sticking off of his head! I wish I'd gotten a picture, it looked so dopey and funny.
Well, I'm sure the story isn't as funny to read about as to watch, but I felt like sharing...
