my kids corn

95zclx

my bestest addiction!
hi, this is "Blade" my sons corn snake, he got him about 2 months ago off craigslist. he's doing great except the tip of his tail looks dead from previous bad sheds ( the owner did not take good care of him, dirty viv and all ).
but my son has been following my lead with my "Sonja" so he's doing really good with it. he's worried he's gonna be afraid of Blade when he gets bigger though.
anyway, here he is...

I like him. The colors look different in the second photo.

thanks, it was his camera...not a high quality one.
the 2nd photo is pretty close to real life colors though.

hes very mellow, i feel bad about his tail and not sure how to address it.
i had him soak his tail in plain water (and let him slither through a damp washcloth) to maybe soften it up to help it fall off but nothing has changed.

Blade is a sweetie! His tail will just slowly drop off & it will take time. My daughter was 4 when we got her a snake. The families first. I was worried she would be scared of him & now she's almost 8 & her snake is over 5ft. (our biggest corn) They are just great together. They have both grown, I think your son will do just fine. Corns are really easy snakes & if he handles him a lot like my daughter does w/ hers they will have a special bond. :D
