ILOVECORNSNAKES

My lil Delilah!! ^^
I haven't been here in sooo long. Mostly because I am so out of time now. Unfortunately, out of time for my snakes too. :( My best friend's younger brother is intrusted in buying them. He's 12 and I fully believe he has the interested to care for them. Best part is that I'll still be able to see them. Often. :D

So anyway, the point of the thread was to ask how much I should charge him. I'm really close with him and his family. Originally I paid 35 for each of my babies. They are now around 250 grams each. I'm giving him the two 20 gallon tanks, all of the tank accessories, and a mostly full bag of substrate.

His mom wants him to pay for them, and wants him to pay what they are worth, but I'm not really sure. He's 12, and practically family. How much would you charge him if you were me???

Well since he is adopting them from you and they are a close friend I myself would ask him to pay for the tanks, accessories and bedding. Your not trying to make a profit right so just ask for what you put into raising them.

I would personally pay 100 for your tanks + accessories since I can get two 20 longs w/screen tops, and basic lighting, heating and housing equipment for approximately $150 at my local Petland Discounts. Seeing as the stuff you are selling is used I think $100 is a fair price.
As for the snakes, you could charge what you paid for them maybe. Personally I'd give them away and look at it as an adoption. You'll get to see them pretty frequently after all.
