My new amel Abbot's okeetee

SnakeAround

Formerly Blutengel
This is my new girl, Amelana, an '08 amel Abbot's okeetee. I plan to breed her to my Tessera het amel male this season. I really like her borders and the dark red saddles, but I'm not too fond of the marginal background color. But since the male is quite light himself, we might see some nicely bordered buckskin okeetee Tessera's in the clutch, who knows :) Next year she might be paired with my crazy patterned okeetee Tessera, not sure though yet.

Her name is Amelana because the Czech breeder says amelano instead of amel, which I thought sounds nice as a name, but than the girly version. I have also seen her Abbot's grandfather at the show where I went to get her, a gorgeous animal!

Really beautiful girl you have! And that tessera is really pretty too. :) Good luck with breeding, hope you'll have lots of wonderful babies.

Congrats! I hope you get a good clutch! I'm super excited to see the borders resulting from this breeding.
