Are you sure it's a Charcoal Stripe? I'm only asking because they are SO rare. She is a good looking snake, either way!

Jeez. How many hundreds and hundreds of dollars did you shell out for this critter if it is indeed a charcoal stripe?

Anery stripe, charcoal stripe, either way it's an attractive snake.

Nice

Who produced it, because if thats Charcoal Stripe,I am thinking about my Anery Bloodred Stripes may actually be Pewter Stripes because they sure look different then any Granite Stripe I have seen before. Now I am going to have to test breed the male to a charcoal.

I am so glad to find out charcoal stripes are that rare. I have been looking for one and couldn't figure out why I couldn't find one. Back to the snake, I too believe it's an anery stripe. Mine is silvery like yours but with a bluish tail.

Nice looking snake... I dont know about it being a charcoal stripe however... I've wanted even a MOTLEY Charcoal & have had a heck of a time finding a breeder.

At anyrate... congrats on your new lil' one.

Lore, I will also have some charcoal motleys this year, from Mohr stock. :)

As for the snake posted above...the eye color just doesn't look right to be a charcoal...all my charcoals have blueish eyes.

Well

It could be a charcoal stripe, morphs vary alot......
Someone who has been breeding them for a long time might be able to tell,I been doing this very long and still wonder about some stuff that hatches out

I agree with the eye comments, for me it doesnt look like a charcoals.. but who knows, I guess it depends who you got it from really to be sure.

she might be an anery stripe. wouldnt surprise me. she just looks so much like our charcoal we have. with the eyes and everything.
ill check it out more to be sure.

she also has a purple tinge to her when the sunlight hits her. dunno how much that matter. but i thought i would throw it out their too

Glad you didn't take the comments personally. Where did you get her or what did you pay? Those would be decent indicators of whether she is Charcoal or Anery.

My BF hasn't seen one like it yet, he said it was really interesting. After I saw it again the first pic kinda looks like a rubber snake even lol 'cause her color is so unique :D

I agree with most everyone. Anerey irisis are the same color as the snakes ground color and charcoals eyes seem to be almost black, kind of like a giant pupil. Plus the ground color doesn't scream charcoal, it looks more anery. Charcoals don't TYPICALLY start of as black and white snakes, they are more of a brownish coloration (blotches).

Just my two cents and about all it is worth

Charcoal Stripes are pretty rare..!! So if she is consider yourself extremely lucky. But if she's not she's still beautiful..

Where did you get her and how much did she cost.. A known charcoal stripe would not be very cheap..
