a male candycane motley 3 weeks old
now i only have to find him a female :grin01:

I agree...It just didn't look like a candy cane to me...but he is a cute little guy :0)
 
Wow thats a nice looking snake whatever the little baby is :)
The white on that snake appears to be almost cream colored, is that true to life?

but anyway i didnt choose him with a breeding plan so it doesnt matter that much to me

Candy cane is a version of amel selectively bred to look a certain way. It's not something you can have "hets" for, so breeding two candy cane parents isn't necessarily going to give you candy canes. The Candy cane morph is tricky to perfect because color naturally fills in as a corn grows. Usually amel babies that could be possible candy cane candidates look candy cane as hatchlings and then their color fills in with age.
Your baby cannot even be considered a possible candy cane candidate because she already has too much orange in between her saddles. She actually looks like she'll turn out more on the Sunglow side of the spectrum of amels to me.

but the candycane on the first 2 pics's was also very orange when he was young

so it,s gonna be a surprise how he,s gonna look like

Based on what you say about parents and without seeing pics of belly I am not sure it is a motley, more likely an amel het mot. just my .02 susan
