My new corn snake

Here is my new baby. I think it's a female, but still a bit too young to tell. Thinking she's a pewter color morph, but can someone confirm that for me?

Congrats on your new baby! I'm not familiar with that morph, so I would not be able to confirm that. I am sure someone will come along and help out on that. :)

She looks like she is pied-sided too. She doesn't really have the markings down the side, just the ones down the spine. What do you guys think?

I don't know about pied, but I wouldn't rule out diffused/bloodred being expressed. The colors do look pewter-ish, though it might also be granite (anerythristic type A + diffused/bloodred). Pewter would be diffused/bloodred + anerythristic type B. Anery B is also known as charcoal.

I don't see any pied in her. Pied is actually white that is along the side. The plain sides come from the diffused in her. Pewters are actually a combo of diffused and charcoal. Good looking little snake. Looks pewter to me. Any way you can get us a belly shot?

So she may be pewter or granite? Would a pic right after a shed help? I can't get a pic in daylight due to cold weather.

better lighting, particularly of the eyes would help most that are capable of IDing between granite and pewter. I only have 3 granites and 1 pewter in my collection and though I can see the differences, I also struggle with IDing the 2 due to my lack of experience with the traits in a combined form.

Thank you everyone :) esp those who have been helping me with her color morph. I'm gonna get some pics up when she sheds and it's warm enough to get some good pics in natural light. Some pics like that really help. :) Also, can anyone confirm her as female for me with the pics above? I'm pretty sure it's a she but she's still young and I'm still new to sexing young ones. Thanks again for everyone's help
