My New Corn Snakes

Hi I'm new to the forum and have kept a Royal Python for the last 2 years until a friend of mine contacted me during my day off on Sunday and asked if I would like to re-home two of his corn snakes. I gratefully obliged

Can anyone identify what morphs they are? Each of them are 3 years old and I am unsure of their sex, however, both are believed to be male.

Meet Mahalo the smaller of the two, is he a Carolina or something?

Meet Lagarfljót, he is a very big boy and is pretty overweight, he will now be getting lots of handling and exercise not to mention a diet. Any ideas on what he is?

They are housed together in a 3x2x2 which isn't ideal, just awaiting a new stat coming so both can enjoy their own space

It looks like you have a normal and an amel, both very well-fed! Welcome to the forum!

Just getting out and moving around will help. And stair climbing, if you have stairs. And with adult males, I'd be feeding one medium adult mouse every two to three weeks.

Hello folks, My equipment order arrived the other day along with a 17kg bale of repticard bedding so Mahalo and Lagarfljót are now separated and apparently enjoying their own space.

Mahalo's viv

Lagarfljót's viv

I am hoping to pick up some new fake plants and hides along with some climbing branches to make their enclosure both aesthetically pleasing as well as stimulating for them.

Thanks for looking

Andy

I really hope they are enjoying the space, cant wait to make their vivs look presentable, though money is tight so it will be a work in progress :)

It seem Lagarfljót is a little "blue" after being separated from his buddy Mahalo lol, keeping my eyes peeled as I'd love to catch him in the process of shedding.

Congrats on the new additions ! Glad they finally have space to stretch out and a new owner that shows concern for their extra weight ! Great set ups !
