ok well here is Max. if it turns out to me a male, it will be Maximus, female Maxine. i went to a reptile show today and picked him up. he was 40 bux and is very active. he loves to jump. the seller said he was only about a month old. he is sooo tiny. ill start to feel alot more comfortable after i see him eat. so without farther adue, Max and his cage.

Congratulations! You finally got a little one. He's so cute. And tiny. His setup looks great. I'll bet he will like hiding in all the vines and stuff. Good luck with him.

he loves the vines. ive got a hide in there for him, he almost went into it, but i guess it was too dark for him so he just went up into the vines. lol.

Tcr...

My Wife has 8 of those little guys, they are cute as heck ! I think you'll enjoy having it :)

What a cutie! Cresteds are so cool. I'm not a "lizard" person, but we just got a couple of those in at work a couple of weeks ago and I totally fell in love with them. Very sweet, and I just love their little pointed toes. They look like elf shoes.

Awww(about five minutes later...)wwwww!!!!!!! How CUTE!! I miss my little crested sooo incredibly terribly much!   I got him for free from a guy who owns a pet shop, and had just discovered he had severe MBD.. I feel like he 'pawned' him off on us just to die.. we had him improving, but we just couldn't save him.. it broke my heart, I had wanted a crested for so long, and then mine dies and I blame myself... (I had thought the guy had gotten it recently, and that he had been that way when he got him. In reality, the crested had been in the guy's posession for months and was never properly cared for) it was horrible, but yours is SOO cute!! Just look at that face! And those toes! (You'd think I was gushing over a human baby o_O) I've got to go get another one.. a healthy one this time.. congrats!!! I know you'll love him!!

very easy to care for. they need no external heating(room temp is fine) and they need now light. only so you can see them. they eat baby food, crickets, and they have a powdered food you mix with water if you want to just feed them that.
