Corn Snake Breeder
Hello there all!

I purchased a new female Lavender corn snake and she arrived the sunday before last. I have only had her for a week and already she is getting into trouble. :dgrin: Her tank has a waterfall in one corner and there is some space behind it for the water pump and electrical cord. I didnt think much of it because water fall was pretty securely fastened to the corner but I was wrong. My dear snake disappeared 3 days ago, come to find out in the bottom of the waterfall out of site from someone looking down at the waterfall there is a hole to the resivware in the back where the pump is and there is a two inch whole right there where the power cord comes out! Amadala has found that she likes swimming and found the hole to say the least. I guess she liked it back there because even though she could get out she wouldnt leave. I had to entice her with mice to come out. Well thanks for listening. I did fill that back compartment with expanding foam and all is fine with the tank. Its a bit hard to capture her pinks with my camera and she moves a lot so some pics are blurry but I hope you enjoy!

She is a cute pinky-purply girl. I did not know cornsnakes were aquatic, learn something new every day! :) j/k. I am glad she likes her waterfall even if she did figure out how to crawl inside it!
 
What a pretty girl. I am totally jealous of the waterfall! Corns do submerge in the water sometimes, especially to cool off or to hydrate their skin for a shed. Thanks for sharing :D
