My New Snake

Saw this guy advertised on Craigslist and now he's mine! Mojave male, 2yo, 2.5'. He's very handle friendly and I even pet his head with no reaction. He has some shed stuck to his head, so I altered a tupperware container into a hide and filled it with some moistened beaked moss (it was cheaper than sphagnum) and hope he finds his way into it while settling in. The man I got him from had several other beautiful snakes for sale, including some normals and a pastel. (Also showed me his boa constrictor, a beautiful snake but too big for me...) But I just fell in love with this boy, and am trying to decide whether to call him Spike, Fluffy (my dry sense of humor), Peanut, or Butters after the South Park character (again my crazy sense of humor). Paid $150.

I'm so tempted to call the guy back up and go get one of those normals. I'd better restrain myself. Snake addiction can be a painful thing. This makes 4 for me.

Awww I had a Spike that had cheerios down his back too. He was...weird though, very nervous.

Pretty snake. How about Skittles or cheerios (that's what he looks like, like Weda said)

LOL. Thanks for the suggestions. It was six months before I named my other 3. My leo didn't have a name for over two years. I'm still partial to Butters or Peanut. I always struggle leaving my new arrivals alone for the two weeks it takes them to acclimate. And of course I won't be handling him even much after that until I see that he eats. *fingers crossed, knocking on a whole lumberyard*
