Not trying to harsh on you or anything, but Savanna monitors should have dirt to burrow in. They have a large tendency to fail to thrive on wood chips. Make sure your basking spot has a surface temp of 130 degrees or more. Make sure that is the surface temp and not the air temp. 130 degree air temp equals lizard jerky.
