So obviously my love of reptiles has played a huge part in my life over the last 3 or 4 years, but this past year I've been sucked into the a new obsession... betta fish
At the moment I only have 2 bettas and 1 african dwarf frog. I actually had a very beautiful crowntail betta pass on my last weak after having him for only a few days. He had a bloat and swim bladder problem that suddenly developed into a fatal condition ):
At the moment my red veiltail is at my mom's house because I have NO SPACE lol. I should really stop getting into pets that require huge glass tanks and expensive cages!
But most of all I am so super excited by my newest fishy addition! He's a SUPER ADORABLE doubletail halfmoon betta. He's still pretty tiny and young but I'm so excited to see how he turns out as he gets older. I think he might end up being marble, but who knows. He's got black spots all over, with some small red blotches on his head and back. I'm curious to see if he keeps the see-through cellophane fins or if those color in as he gets bigger.
So here's YinYang!
