My Snake Flew and Landed from a 3 Foot Fall...will she be ok? :-/

I was feeding Amber today and then she accidently bit my hand. As a reflex [like anyone else], I jerked my hand and she flew a few inches and landed from a 3 foot fall. She's only about a year old and is about 17 inches. Quite young I must say. I got so upset that I dropped her.

I thought that she would be ok because some snakes experience even worse falls but is there any consequence? Like internal injuries and such? This is all I'm wondering about...

[Btw, she ate a mouse after that fall and seemed fine and now she's just slithering around...but still a lil concerned...]

My python jumped out of my hands the day I got her and she did not get hurt. I think yours will be ok. Just keep an eye on her for the next couple of days.

Yeah, i think your snake will be OK :)
My snake has had a couple of falls in the past and he is fine.....they probably have to deal with much longer falls in the wild :)

I've read several similar threads and the general concensus is if she ate and is moving around fine she will be OK, just keep an eye on her for a while to make sure :)

I dropped my corn on accident a couple of weeks ago. He was crawling on my hands and slipped off; dropping about three feet. He was a little startled at first but he is perfectly fine now, corns can take quite a beating if they have too, as long as its crawling fine and not acting strange it should be fine. On a side note, now whenever I hold my corn he wraps his tail around one of my fingers so he doesn't fall, I thought that was pretty neat...

I dropped my snake once when I was trying to hold him and maneuver a camera, he fell right onto the ledge of the box I was trying to put him in. It knocked the wind out of him and he was a little stunned but he was fine.

My new king Skeeter didn't like being popped at the shop where I bought him, and took a flying leap out of the owner's hands to land on the hard floor, He was absolutely fine, but I was worried at first too.

my liitle one "kellog" likes to climb his little tree thing (not very tall) but hes always falling off it, i swear he does it on purpose sometimes.but hes always fine and straight back up there again.
