 So, since I've been so efficient this weekend, I figured that I'd show off a couple of fav pics of my babies.
Slither, now about 2 1/2 years, 3' 10", & 365 g of her gorgeous self:

Finally, a little tongue-flick pic:

And then there's Squiggle @ about 1 1/2 years, 34" long, & about 180 g:

And one of the silliest things he's done thus far: :roflmao:

Oh yeah, we also found out that he's a boy, not a girl, as we originally thought. So, we have Slither, who's a girl, & Squiggle, who's a boy, that are both growing like little weeds. Slither went through a "I don't want to eat" phase for a bit...guess she wasn't hungry. She only lost about 20 grams, but seemed "fluffy" (per Mike @ Regal) enough despite her hunger strike. She's back to eating normally now so all is quiet. Squiggle, I swear he'd eat until he explodes. He's always looking for another mousey. I've been giving him 3 fuzzies because I couldn't get hoppers at Regal & :licklips: he's always looking for a 4th one...little nut!
At least they both have nice personalities & seem to enjoy being held. Hope ya enjoyed the pics.

They ARE beautiful snakes! Lol. And Squiggles seems to like improvising. Now he gets the best of both worlds- water, and security! It's a snakes personal bath house/cup thing!

And also to pay tribute to Slither so that she doesn't get left out. She is a gorgeous snake and I have to say I really love the yellow streaks (I'm assuming they are on both sides of her head). It makes me think of the streak of light when Flash runs or some other super speed super hero and the name Slither really makes it fit! Of course, that's just my opinion. You know her best! :)

Thank you so very much for the compliments. ;) I may be a bit biased, but I think they're gorgeous. I do believe their personalities make them even more appealing. They're both so very relaxed while being held.
I fear I can't take credit for Slither's name as I got her off craigslist when she was a bit over a year. Squiggle I can take credit for however. lol
I've always loved snakes, but never had one. Luckily my husband indulges my latest passion for exotics. I really hope to get a snow & then I'll be all done. Of course, that's what I thought when I got Squiggle.

Pair becomes a trio...

Okay, so I finally came to the conclusion that my snake babies were missing something... namely a gorgeous Snow. I'd like to introduce the newest member of the family:
Meet Sprinkle:

I got a little tongue-flick pic right away.
She is just the cutest little thing. And so very sweet. After putting her in her new home, I figured that I wouldn't see her for at least a week...especially considering how she blends into the substrate.

But, surprise, I did see her sneaking around last night after everyone else went to bed. Guess she was checking out the new digs. She was hilarious going from cool side to warm side & back again! Just too cute.
I do believe that my Corn family is now complete. :D

Well, a lot has happened since my last post...very sad news. Little Sprinkle did great in our home for almost 2 months, shedding perfectly & eating fine until one day she regurged & died the very next day. I was totally heartbroken to lose her. I even made her a headstone & buried her beneath a special little tree that we planted when we first moved here.

Despite losing Sprinkle, Slither & Squiggle continue to be fine & grow more gorgeous. They both shed perfectly last month & Squiggle is about to shed again soon. When I took the recent pics, I didn't realize that Slither was blue until after I got her in my hand. She usually looks much prettier than that which I'm sure y'all can see beneath her old skin.

And Squiggle, as you can see is looking perfectly adorable in his new skin.

I finally contacted a one of the guys at a petstore & he managed to get me this little baby. Meet Sparkle:

I love her little saddles as they remind me of Slither's. She's a feisty little bugger, but seems as though w/time she'll calm down. Well, that's it for my update. Hope y'all like the pics.

Great pics!
The cup in the water dish is so cute!

Sorry to hear about your snow :(
Hopefully your new girl will be healthy.

So, I went into the store to get my mealworms & thought that it'd be safe to look at the Anery that they had in there... figured that he'd look like Slither. Boy, was that a big mistake. I've fallen hard a little male that they have there & am trying desperately to talk the husband into him. I took pics w/my cellphone, which came out crudy. But at least it's a pic of the little bugger. Warning: The pic doesn't do him justice.
Here he is: :licklips:

Keep your fingers crossed that I convince him.

My pair doubled

:dancer: YAY!!!! Husband is getting me the new little bugger for my birthday. Good thing I only have to wait until Saturday to get him rather than my birthday...I couldn't stand the wait. I also went to visit him & got some much better pics of him to show off his gorgeousness.

I love how his saddles look bronze!

Now I just have to convince the husband that Spirit is a much better name than Fred. I should have known better than to tell him that he could name the little bugger!

Wow. That is a beautiful anery! Congratulations on th awesome birthday prezzie!
And happy birthday!
