Try not to put the camera to close and don't zoom in to make it look closer, that will only blur the picture, if you can hold the snake at arms length with one hand and take the picture with the other. I have a low budget digital camera and it does take a lot of practice to find that distance for unblured pictures, keep trying.

Ditto to what she said above. Don't get close, I literally have to take a pic at an arms length away to make it come out

they look cute though, :)
