My viv's temperature gradient

Hey guys I finally got my viv all set up! My setup is attached as a file.

Anyway, I got my heating pad yesterday and it is a ZooMed Reptitherm UTH for a 10-20 gallon terrarium. It has been on all night and day now and the warm side(where the heating pad is) reads a temp of 80F and the cooler side at 70F. The humidity is around 55% on the warmer side. Is this an okay amount of heat for my new corn snake? Help??

How and where are you measuring the temps? You need a probed thermometer attached to glass in the middle of the uth. Which thermostat are you using?

The viv looks really nice!

Agreed with popcorn. Do you have a thermostat? If not, that's your next priority as heat mats can fluxuate in temperature a LOT. The mat will eventually put burn marks in the wood on your stand/dresser because they get really hot if they aren't on a thermostat.. try to aim a little higher in temp, usually 82-85 on the hot side is a good range. And mid 70s on the cool side. Viv looks nice! Keep the humidity in check (40-60%), which you have it in range right now. Glass tanks are harder to keep humidity in but it can definitely be done. Hope that helps a little! :)

Right now I have two unreliable crappy zoomed dual thermo/hydrometer. I do not have my snake yet so I am ordering a probed thermometer and a thermostat. I'll keep you updated. Thank you guys!:grin01:
