So, went to the St. Louis Reptile show today and my wife's birthday is next week. Guess I got out of buying her a present!! The first one is a Ghost, with great coloration and the second is supposed to be a butter motley. Never seen one this light, but extremely neat looking!! Enjoy!

Yeah I am not sure if that is just a butter either. It does look like it might be in blue so you might need to post more pictures once it sheds.

It is in blue, so we will see once it sheds. However, the breeder we got her from said it's EXTREMELY light colored, so we'll see.

The ghost was born 7/26/11 and the butter was born 7/28/11. So almost 6 mos old. Both really good feeders according to their charts and both see really lively. The butter was trying to get out the entire 2 hr ride home!

You know that is what I am thinking Josh. It does have quite a bit of yellow already for a snow but it is to light to be just a butter. I can't wait till it sheds.

Lovely birthday presents! The Mrs. should be very pleased! I also don't think the one is a plain butter motley. It is way too light, especially for having been hatched in July '11. It might be a caramel snow, but in all honesty, it reminds me more of Walter's buttermint as a hatchling. It has the same stark white ground with that extremely pale hint of yellow to the saddles. Check it out: His first thread (scroll down for additional photos) - Butter Cinder...., than an update thread - Buttermint Update.

Here's an updated pic. Both of them are doing great, and Echo, the butter motley, is an exhibitionist!!! Always out and about, while Athena is very secretive. Hence, no new pictures.
