My young ball python

Pretty new, got him maybe a month ago. Just had his first shed since I've had him. Went pretty well, was slightly anxious because so far I'm used to corns and they shed so easily lol. And thank you!

Good to hear his shed went well. It's certainly easier when it does! I think the sheds and the feeding strikes are the main challenges with ball pythons, right?

When I can get my house snake through a winter with good sheds, I might feel ready for a ball python. I think they're about intermediate between a corn and a ball as far as humidity needs. Also, to have another snake big enough to eat all the refused rats would be helpful. I need one of those first! LOL

Yep they say shedding and feeding are bad. So far good first shed and he/she eats like a champ. Strikes as soon as food is introduced. Less hesitation than any other snake I have so far. Granted they are all very young so that could change. Apparently they're known to go on long fasts.

None yet I want to get it sexed first. I don't trust myself popping to see I'd rather get a more experienced person to do it.
