John here from Texarkana. I saw from an earlier thread looks like we have a lot of Texans here! I've been keeping tarantulas (have 58) & scorps (have 14) for about 4 yrs now and have had a few wild caught snakes over the years. I finally bought my first corn last Wednesday. I was leaning towards a RTB, but I thought i'd start with something more user friendly and that i'd have plenty of room for as an adult!:D
"Bubba" shed the 2nd day and ate a pinky 4 days later without hesitation. I can see already how corns could be addicting!

Howdy, and welcome to the forum. Im pretty far from Texarkana, but I have a few tarantulas as well, an adult female GBB, and a couple adult female Rio Grande Golds, as well as a couple vinagroon scorpions. Oh yeah, and a "few" corns, lol.

Hey, welcome! I live in the DFW area. Yeah, it won't be long before you start wanting more and more snakes! I had none 6 months ago, and now I have corns, subocs and got my first ball python last weekend... As someone said to me: "Welcome to the addiction"!

*waves* Fellow Texan here. You can't stop at just one reptile. ;) About three and a half years ago I got my corn snake, then since December of this past year I got three more reptiles. I'll be getting a carpet in a few months, and I've been thinking of getting a bloodred corn.

Any pics of the new addition?

My avatar and about a couple of dozen more i've taken. I admit i'm clueless about morph's. I've done a lot of research online but it's going to take me awhile to get specifics down when it comes to ID's.
I'll be adding pics as I go to my photobucket here: http://s230.photobucket.com/home/SNAFUinTX
Thanks for the warm welcome to this cold blooded forum!

Pretty little baby. I don't know how to determine morphs in hatchlings, so hopefully someone else can chime in here. All I know is he's cute. :)
