can somone please go into the instant messenger from this cite and talk to me real fast i need to knw some things about a tank

Depending on what is "wrong" with the tank...

Diluted bleach solution for tanks of unknown background... ammonia if the tank may have had cryptosporidium exposure (or chuck it in the dumster! My preference!)

Citrus salts made into a paste with distilled water will remove salt scale if the tank was once marine.

Algae stains can often be boiled off by pouring hot water on them and then scrubbing with an algae scrubber pad.

I have also used Clorox Anywhere spray to disinfect my animals cages over the past year. with no ill effects.

Thanks for the replys it was once marine but only a live rock tank and was not to bad i got it basicly clean with the hose but i just want to disenfect it my mom is going to get som bleach tomorrow

Don't use bleach on the lawn, by the way... it will kill the grass. Do it in the driveway and dilute it a lot with running water. Remember too, bleach does NOT kill cryptosporidium, but if it was a marine tank, you don't need to worry about that. How big is the tank?
