one of my corn snakes escaped overnight and I have no glue where she is or where the perfect hiding spot is
she is about 3 feet long

Oh boy.. is there any possibility she left the room?

If so your chances decreased a lot.. if not try all nookies and crannies, shoes, corners, clothe piles, matress, pillow cases, everywhere basically.. over night pour flour on the floor and see if you see any movement in the morning...

thank you
she can be only in two rooms and I gone try the flour over night and hop that I find her tomorrow

bring out a light in each room as a hot spot... that way you will draw her/him out for a warm up opportunity and you are more likely to get a visible track.

it is cold outside so I doubt the snake will leave the house or the area...
if it was summer then maybe... but I think the heat will keep him/her in the house <3 Good luck!

You could also leave out a meal for the snake inside of a little hide box. If the snake finds and ingests the meal, it will often remain in the hide to digest. There are a host of other tricks if you search the forums. Good luck!

Check within dressers and any trucks or behind shelves as well. We had a small milk snake escape his tank multiple times and I found him curled up behind a tank we have a pair of female milk snakes in. They are excellent hiders snakes. And they will find a tiny crevice to disappear too.

Good luck!

Corns are notorious escape artists. Don't be so hard on yourself. Do check vents and any other potential exit points, however high up the wall. Closing them off at this point may lock your snake in the vent system if he's in there, but could also prevent him from getting in if he hasn't already figured that out. Be wary of possible spaces under doors (if they can muscle their heads through, the rest will follow), and keep the rooms you've targeted dark, which will encourage your snake to venture into the room more than a light space will. Hopefully a dark, quiet room will yield some clues, if not immediately return your snake to you. It may take time to find him...be patient and wait it out. Good luck, and here's hoping you find him safe and sound quickly!

Was there a particular method that helped you catch the snake or did you get lucky and stumble upon it?

I tried a couple times with flour and nothing happened and today was my lucky day he was in front of me when I went to the bathroom
