hello, can anyone help me? my cornsnake is only eating lizards... is there a way to get it to eat other food. i tried mice pinkies, quailes he wont eat it just lizards. haiz... only weight 30grms born march09

Have you tried letting the lizards crawl over a live day old pinky mouse? That way the pinky smells like a lizard and still moves.

From there you should be able to move to f/t scented pinkies and then to the proper sized meal that is not scented over time.

Just an idea. :shrugs:

That's exactly what i was going to suggest....just got interupted with a phone call though.

Try scenting the mouse with a lizard and see if the Corn will then take the mouse. After that you should be able to switch the Corn ovver to unscented mice.

Best of luck!

You can also shove a lizard tail down the pinks throat after rubbing the pink all over the lizard a few times to trick him. After a few unscented pinks I would move to small fuzzies.
