I had to take back my beautiful sunglow and got this little girl in exchange. Not sure what she is though. She has a good bit of yellowing up near her head and the pictures make her a little more red than she actually is. Sorry about the photo quality….just took a few quick snaps while getting her ready to go into her new home. Any ideas?

What does the belly look like? Are there checker markings or is the whole belly stark white? I can see why people said motley but the pattern past the neck and the side pattern doesn't have me convinced. Which is why I ask about the belly. No matter what that little amel is so adorable. Congrats!

Belly is checkered.
 
Interesting....

Our new corn snake was sold to us from a breeder as motley. Most of his belly is white, but some has gray checkers. Does that mean he isn't? He's a pink and white snow otherwise.

It doesn't really matter to us, but I am curious.

He just ate, and I don't have any really good pictures yet. I'll see if I can get some in a day or so.

There is one pic here, but I just snapped it withmy phone,and I doubt it's enough to tell anything. He's pretty either way!

Dang....ruined my name idea that I had. When the first people were saying Amel Motley I got to thinking....Motley....one of my favorite bands is Motley Crue. I could name her Nikki (Nikki Sixx - bass player). Then find out she isnt motley and now I'm stumped. LOL

Maybe you could name her Griffith. Since Amel is close to Mel, which is short of Melanie which is the first name of your favorite actress, Melanie Griffith.
 
I like my names to have some sort of meaning to it. My sunglow was named Cheeto....she was the same color as Cheetos. My Dachsund was named Zeus. He was a black and tan and looked like a midget version of the Dobermans on Magnum PI (Zeus and Apollo). It made me laugh.
