My female has just laid 11 eggs today, Store is closed being a holliday and all, please tell me is i am doing wrong..I have placed all the eggs in a small, 2 gal tank with wet paper towel, over top of the eggs, but I have the eggs ontop of bedding i use for my older corns.Again with damp paper towel underneath the bedding, I have the 2 gal tank sitting ontop of a heating rock, with a heat lamp over top, Is this to much heat for these eggs, Should i remove the heat lamp from above, or just leave it untill the pet store opens to it all right, And what might be the right way to go about this?. I am a first timer at this, but i am thinking It is gonna be a fun experiance.. Thank you, any help would be greatly appretiated..

Sounds like it might be a bit much heat.

Without a thermometer, it's impossible to tell. You really want to try and get a reading from the spot the eggs are sitting. If you have to guess, try and err slightly on the cool, rather than the hot, side. Less likely to do damage if it's slightly too cool .... anything down to the mid 70's will be OK short-term. Anything around 90 could be dangerous.
