Here is Freya, the second of our new additions, and the one that has me REALLY confused. What do you think she might be? Again, we have no information on parentage (sorry!) and she is also "under a year old."

A very nice amel to go with your anery! Together, they would make normal babies het for anery and amel (unless either is het for the other trait). Breed those babies together and you can get normals, amels, anerys and snows.

Thanks, everyone!

And it looks like another consensus! I spent so much time looking at pictures online, and there is so much variability within the morphs, it seems, that I was just getting more befuddled. It's great to have so many knowlegeable folks to glean information from!

I've never been a big fan of amelanistic snakes (something about the red eyes, I think), but this little girl just slithered up and grabbed me! Pictures really rarely do snakes justice, and she is so much prettier in the flesh. The photos that make her look more yellow are less accurate that the ones where she looks more orange (I had to mess with the color balance on my digital camera, and the quality of the light made a big difference...).

I want to try to get some more pictures of everyone, and once I do, I'll post pictures of the corns in the photo gallery. After looking at all those photos online yesterday, I'd love to get some feedback from all of you about Artemis, our adult female, as well.

Thanks again! I'd better quit looking at snakes and get some work done today... (well, maybe later...)
