Need some help. Not sure what she is

I purchased this female along with a male who sadly didn't make it a few years ago. The breeder had them labeled as Sunsets but couldn't elaborate on what that meant in terms on genetics. The male was very different in that there was very little white in comparison. She is definitely beautiful but I'm clearing out some space so she along with a few others are up for sale. Anyway, need to know what she is first. Thanks in advanced for replies.

I think she's a very light colored amel. The borders aren't thick enough for the RO label, and she has too much ground color to be a candycane.

The borders may not be Real thick but they are Really there, meaning very white and no bleeding or blending.... that is why I would say RO. Which is still of course an amel LOL but a very nicely colored one.

LOL seems we arent a huge help yet :)

Ditto from me. Ronin (love the tag!), whatever extra info is added like Reverse Okeetee, your pretty lady is genetically amelanistic. She may have other hidden traits (hidden hets). If you don't know her genetic background, stick with what's for certain when you sell her. How old is she, by the way?

Its a darn nice amel. However, I tend to agree with Shiari. When I hatch out snakes, I prefer thicker borders on my RO's before I label them as such. I understand that the qualifications for a RO are somewhat subjective though, so I do not think others are wrong. Either way, its a nice looking amel. I like the unform saddles and clean colors.

I would call it a nice amel. It doesn't fit either the RO or candycane variety IMO. I not only like thick borders on an RO, but I could overlook thinner borders if the snake has a rich orange ground color. I really don't care for the ROs with light ground color. To me, that isn't keeping with the definition of an Okeetee. And the ground color is not white enough to be a candycane. Honestly, it looks like a cull from a candycane project.

Joe Pierce had something called "sunset lavender motleys" which were supposedly a new type of hypo...That doesn't seem to have anything to do with this snake, though.

Something is making me think of a hybrid called a Tequila Sunrise??? Originating from a female that Sean Niland has?? Possibly she was a hybrid with a yellow rat??? So I wonder if sunset has anything to do with that line...

Nanci... That's it!!! It was called a sunrise not a sunset! I'm so sorry for the confusion but its been about three years now since I got her. Ok so now, does this fit a description of a sunrise. And what is a sunrise a hybrid?
