need to choose 4 new snakes

i have currently this snakes:

1 ghost unsexed
2 candy cane unsexed
1 albino unsexed
1 sunglow unsexed
2 black ( anerya ) motley

if you were to choose 3 to 4 new snakes what morph, pattern and sex woud you choose for future matchups....?

without costing me more than $250 :)

I'd get them sexed first and go from there.

Most Pet Stores will do it for real cheap if not free.

Do you have future breeding plans? You need to find out what sex your current collection is. You could use some lavenders/bloodreds!

well color and morph aren't that hard to pick...but sex for future matchups is kind of complicated since you have all unsexed snakes...but here are my choices..

1 Charcoal Anery ( either zig zag pattern or striped)
1 Lavander (striped)
1 bloodred (solid blood red)
1 jungle corn (any pattern as long as the colors are vibrant) (okay I know this one is an odd choice..but someone posted a pic of a jungle corn on this forum and when I saw the pic I thought it was a beautiful snake..I would love to own one myself..so this would definitely be in my list...I know it's probably not in anyone else's..heh.)

1 jungle corn
You probally know it, but it would be wise to mention that a jungle corn is a hybrid with a kingsnake.
Maybe the topicstarter doesn't know this, buys a 'jungle-colored-corn' and in a couple years he is breeding hybrids without knowing or wanting this.

So in the future I would advise you to mention this if people ask you about corn-morphs. ;)

On topic answer:
You now have amel and anery A in you collection, so I would buy:

- snow motley of snow striped (just to breed snows quicker)
- caramel (so you can also breed caramel and butter motley's)
- crimson (to produce miami het. hypo amel with your candy canes)
- bloodred (just to mix with al the other morphs)

I was aware of this..I do apologize however for not mentioning this fact..I guess I kind of just thought mostly everyone knew it..Which was foolish of me to think..I am sorry for failing to provide such an important fact.. :eek1:

The most inexpensive way towards making high end morphs with what you've got would be to invest in diffused/bloodred and lavender. Depending on the sexes, you would have the potential to poduce amel bloods, granites, snow bloods, opals, snopals, lavender mots, opal mots, hypo lav, hypo opal, coral snows and a lot more!

it definately looks like you should get your snakes sexed, considering how many you have and are planning on getting. Hopefully you're not too male heavy, because from what I've seen for sales its a little more difficult to find lone females for sale than it is pairs or lone males.

yup ian planning to to sex them once they are big enough their still small so their safety when probing is top priority... is

opal a better option...? cause it has lavender plus amelinistic traits...?
hot about butter motley would this be a good match

If you post pictures of the underside of their tails I'll give you a 9 times out 10 accurate guess as to what gender they are.

Wow, I didn't realize there was so many different kinds of opals. So this brings me to a question, and hopefully I'm not stealing this thread either :eek1:. Hopefully it'll benefit all of us  . Anyway, here it goes: I have a male snow. I'm not too sure what kind of snow, but he's about 5 months old, and he's only pink and white right now. Anyway, if I wanna produce an opal, what morph should the female be? Thanks.
