Derp snake says hi.
Most of you saw my trials and tribulations through trying to convince my parents to let me get a dwarf boa. I had pretty much given up on the dream until Christmas when my dad asked if my Christmas money was going into the snake fund. I gave him an inquisitive look and he said "Oh, we decided we don't really care if you get a snake."

Well, 8 days later... :D

Yeah, my baby Dumerils just sits on me too. very relaxed and sweet. Even lets me pet his head. He sure hates baths though!

On one hand, I want him to be big and thick already! But on the other hand, I want him to stay a little worm forever.
 
Just got some bad news from the breeder that 3 snakes from the litter have passed away. :( [all 3 went to the same person]. Tucson is great and has packed down 3 f/t meals, so I'm keeping fingers crossed that it was an isolated incident.
 
No, the owner did not do a necropsy. However it does appear to be an isolated incident as all other babies in the litter are fine so far.
