congrats on the new additions!! they look great!. But I wouldn't call the first two candy canes as candy canes need to have red/orange saddles with white space between them.

Hi Tania i also think they look like amels but aparently they loose the yellow when they get older.

It's hard to say with the amel mot, but looks like it can be.

And as an FYI, whoever told you that snakes lose the yellow/orange color as they age was flat out wrong. They usually gain *more*.

I second this. The Amel Motley does look like it could end up being a Hurricane & I agree that the first two are regular Amels, not Candy Canes. They will develop more color as they grow. They are very pretty, but I would not call them Candy Canes.

On a side note, the first one does look like it could *possibly* have Strawberry gene...? Based one what I have seen listed. I could be wrong, but that is what came to mind when I saw the first one.

Congrats on the new babies!

Thanks for all the coment's the parents of the candy canes are both very white and aperntly there where some very good looking candy canes in the clutch but they all sold out first so mine are some of the last ones left so they are not proper candy canes but still come from a candy cane X Candy cane pairing.

Here are some better photos of them the others where taken at night.
I took these outside so you can see there colours better.
enjoy!
