New and amazed

Hello all

I'm Mia and I have a new corn snake named Calluu. I am new to snake owning but not to handling and caring as I took care of many types including corn snakes in the repitle rooms at 2 different colleges. I will not say my education is complete because Calluu has confused me greatly already, but at least I'm confident that I can provide a confortable home for her.

I got her from NorthStar Pet Centre who called her a Candy corn snake but the only Candy corn I could find online was Candy Cane and she doesn't look like one to me.
I am not sure what exactly she is, only that she is a female.

I took her picture right before feeding on Thursday in her feeding container as she refuses to stay still unless she is in there. She is a hyper little bugger (21g)

VERY pretty! One of our local pet shops had a guy who told me he had candy canes too... one was a normal & they had 3 snows.

You found a beautiful one!

Supposedly she's 8 months but got lost and didn't eat for 3... their explanation as to why her sibling was bigger. but she looked healthier and more social (very hyper and strong). She's on 2 pinkies a week now but the last feeding I had to give her a third, so I think fuzzies soon.

welcome, very cute snake. Hope you enjoy your time here lots of cool people and good advice. :)

Thank you

Lee wants to breed her in the future but I think I'll hold off on that. He family history is non existent.

she is pretty =] congrats on the find.. she got lost for 3 months eek! glad they found her alive still alive and kicking =]

yeah, she makes up for it now though. we can barely get the pinky near her tub before she lunges to grab it. I am just amazed at how tame she is otherwise.
