New Arrivals: 1.1 het butter stripe

zwyatt

FutureTransitionalFossil
Yeah, these are JUST normals, but I'm so excited about them. Ever since the first butter stripe I saw on this forum, I knew I had to have one and wanted to produce some of my own. This breeding pair will drastically cut down the time it takes to get there, but I still get the "fun" of playing the odds game shooting for that 1 in 64 :D I'd also like to produce some caramel stripes, so it's not such a long shot to get some cool stuff.

First is the female. She's much more relaxed than the male, but has a bit of a sweet tooth if I do say so myself ;)

Hmm...this seems interesting...

...freckles drive the ladies wild. :)

The male is a bit darker than the female in person. He's also a lot more gunshy, so I couldn't get many decent pics of him. Not sure if it's just the move or he's always that way. Maybe he just prefers Cheerios.

Thanks for looking!

Believe me, it would have been difficult to not catch the female biting. The entire time I had her out when she first arrived that morning and the whole time I held her for pictures she smelled up and down my hand and arm just opening her mouth and trying to swallow me whole.

Nice snakes. It's good to see you "back in the game", so to speak.

Here's a pic of my girl Brett to inspire you. ;)

Gosh, Dean. Good thing you posted that pic. I was already beginning to think it may not be worth it to put this proven pair together in the spring. :D

Actually, the first pic that ever inspired me was the following that was posted on this forum. This little one was produced by SMR.

Hey Zach, do ya think she was hungry!! Lol

Beautiful pair though, hope you get lucky with the odds when you pair them up.
It will so be worth it!!

Best wishes,
