These animals were bred by Marc Vervest! From opal x opal breeding... I am hoping to find out if they COULD be homo anery, because these two were very different looking (more snow-ish)... It could be possible that Marc's Opal pair is het. anery....

Anyhow, I like them a lot, thanks Marc!

Wow! They're amazing little snakes! I can't wait to see those two when they're older!

Very nice Robin.. Could it be Marc just ripped you off with a pair of Snows he can not get rid off?.. LOL :crazy02: I remember when I saw Marc's Opal female for the first time I said 'That's a nice blizzard'.. And that is what I really thought what it was..

Actually, I don't think these are snows ;).... the pattern on the last part of the body looks a little "banded" something you see in lavender too... well, and those eyes.... different

The snowy 2005 opals Marc showed me a while ago looked like blizzards too.... well maybe I should put this male on my blizzard female in the future?

just to be sure ;)

I will breed the male to an amel striped too, to create amels het opal striped, well, we will see difference in opal stripeds and snow stripeds, so maybe that'll give us any idea...

Great looking snakes! I'm confused too at the moment, I've got a few snows that could possibly be opals too.

Opal?

Don't have any hatchling photos but mine didn't look like a snow as a hatchling!

Well Marc Vervest(mvervest on this forum) bred these snakes, and in the opal x opal clutch only a few looked like snow... I will test breed these to anery corns to find out if they really are homo anery, or just (like marc told me :p ) "ugly" opals

Well, I don't think they are ugly :p

I will wait for my breeding results, before I could tell anything better than this ;)

Some Opals do not have pink and were called Pearls at one time. I am sure that Snopals could definitely look different that Opals, but all lines that are known to be very pink, have their non-pink counterparts, which some people prefer.

i've got about 10 opals, and they all look like snows at the moment lol.
I had last year 1.1 and this year too .
I did'nt want to sell them last year , want to test them myself too , because people might think your selling snows on opalprice .
Also when other people see the snows , they migh think to call their snows opal too .
I will post some opalhatchling pics next week
