I'll be getting my first snake soon, I'm sooo excited. I just wanted to make sure I have everything I need to make him happy and healthy. :D

What I have so far:

-10 Gallon Zilla Tank

-Aspen Snake bedding

-Water Dish

-At least 3 hides (making more later)

-Zoo-med UTH

-Hydrofarm Thermostat (In the mail, on the way here)

Is there anything I forgot?

Great list! Do you also have thermometers to keep an eye on the temps?

You don't neeeeed them but plastic plants are way fun for the little guys. Plus they feel like they are covered so they come out exploring more. :)

The thermostat I'm getting is supposed to display the temlrature in-tank too (from what I've read), and yeah, I may look into getting him a fake plant soon. :D Thanks!

I think getting an electronic scale that measures in grams was a life savor for me as a newbie. It goes a long way to help clear up any confusion regarding feeding size. I know a lot of people, including myself, have no idea when their snake is ready to move up to fuzzies, and as a result end up feeding pinkies for a lot longer than necessary. Having a scale eliminated that problem because I could simply weigh my snake and compare it to the Munson Plan.

I also got a little branch that suctions onto the side of the viv. Once he got used to it, it was Pan's favorite place to hang out.

As far as instruments go I personally prefer a hygrometer, which of course tells the humidity level & temp. reading as well.
