hi i just got my new ghost corn, she is about 2 months old i think... how much can i handle her since i just got her???

thanks.

you will want to put her in the viv and let her be for about 3 to 5 days. other than to add water to the viv. then you can start to handle her. This will allow the snake to get accustom to her new surroundings and be a lot less upset or frightened when you or someone else walks by or tries to hold her.

don't be scared though when you go to pick her up and she darts away. Once you have her theres a good chance she's not going to like being held and it will probably feel like shes always about to run off your hands. The best way to deal with this is not to be uptight. I've found that when I'm uptight I tend to be more jerky and that scares the snake more. Have fun though!! new snakes are always exciting

Congrats on the new snake, I got a ghost corn too! I picked mine up last Saturday. I left it alone until yesterday. Then I tried feeding it the tiniest pinkie in the package...IT ATE IT IN LESS THAN A MINUTE!! I guess it was hungry?! :D

really? thats neet. I had to work a ton to get mine to be nice like that. He kept trying to run/slither off my hands. and boy was he ever something to catch. :S

Congrats on the New Snake :D

I also have a new ghost Corn. it seems to be settling in really well. I havent been pressuring it 2 much with the picking up. but I am going to really start with it this week.

Hope your Snake is doing well!
