Hey I just picked up this corn from one of my local pet stores, it said butter/the guy said it was a butter but after looking at this corn on vms labeled as "sulphur/butter bloodred" i thought it looked just like the corn i got. i was wondering if anyone could clear this up for me.

seems real dark for a normal butter.

thanks

We need a belly pic to tell you if it's a sulfur or not. It's unlikely as there doesn't appear to be any diffusion on the lateral aspects, but then again I have a fire (amel diffused) that has no lateral diffusion. So a belly pic to figure out.

ah ok, ill do that tomorrow night, i don't want to bother it right now, its probably real stressed

*nods* Does is have a blank tummy or does it have a checkerboard *pattern*? The checkerboard could be white and cream, or white and clear, or cream and clear, or white and yellow, etc etc.

ah thanks. any idea as to why it seems darker then most other butter hatchlings ive seen?

and they said to wait 2 days before i feed it, is that enough or should i give it an extra day?

Butters will lighten up a lot after a just a few sheds. Give her some time to grow and she'll be a pretty yellow snake in no time!
