Colors are no colors, babies are always adorable. They could be baby feeder mice and you could get attached to them. Another good reason for frozen food. You wouldn't want your snake to starve because you grew attached to its food source ayy:eats02:
I'm not 100% sure about the homozygous diffuse part. It looks like there are some small checks along the edge of that belly. The head pattern could simply be the masque gene. I've had a few like that hatch out and I've always hesitated calling them diffuse. Here is a perfect example: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124508
I would have to agree. The head, the diffused sides, and the belly all point to bloodred/diffused. I would guess the belly is plainer and whiter further up the snake too.
Informative link, Susan. I was going to say bloodred as well. Sometimes really nice snakes are sold through pet shops! If people only knew the hets in some of the $39.99 ball pythons that have been through my store...
