Hey guys! My name is Alexis and I hail from Austin, Texas. This forum has already been a HUGE help to me during the process of educating myself as I purchased my first baby! I have a gorgeous amel corn named Duke (or Melly, depending on the sex. First vet visit will be soon, I wanted to give him a month or two to get settled). He's my first snake ever, and he's been beyond perfect. Sweet temperament, no health problems, feeds without a hitch and has had a perfect first shed. Love this site!!

Welcome from a fellow Texan! I'm a corn snake newbie myself, and my little one looks a good bit like yours. Delightful little beasties...

Welcome from Georgia. 1st time corn snake owner myself. Glad to see you done your research before purchase. I wish you and Duke/Melly well. I don't think I could have chosen a better 1st snake for me and the kids... he took to me within the first week of having him. :) great personality on him too.

Welcome to the forms and thanks for providing a picture (I LOVE seeing everybody's babies). I heard it's good to wait before checking their sex anyway, so I think it's a good plan to just let your little snake get used to a new home :)
