Here is my new female butter. I got her from new mexico. She was bred to a hypo amelanitic. She deffianantly has eggs and apparently has a few scars from a bad run in with a mouse. But she is great and hopefully will lay soon.

Thanks I'm really looking forward to it though I'm not really positive on what I'll get. Any thoughts? butter X hypo amel. I'm not sure if this is the motley butter or not I don't think it is. The original one I was going to get laid eggs the morning he was going to ship her so he sent me this one insted but I'm happy he did.

She's very nice looking for sure! Are you sure she's gravid? Looks to be on the thin side, but it may just be the pictures. Either way, a nice pick up. Good luck with her laying!

I think its just the picture she is nice and round on bottom and the pictures I've seen of gravid females is that they get that sorta triangular shape to their backs. I've also felt the lumps so I'm pretty sure. Unless I was imagining.
